How do I apply for GBS?

When should I apply?
We recommend applying as soon as possible, especially if you are interested in a scholarship, as spots are limited.
- Application is possible from mid-January - June 15th, 2026.
- If you apply before March 8th 2026, your participation fee will be reduced by the early-bird discount of 200€ (scholarship applicants are not eligible).
- The application deadline for scholarships is April 30th, 2026.

Which English language certificates do you accept?
If English is your first language or your current studies are or past studies were conducted in English, you do not need to provide a certificate.
In all other cases, we accept offical accrediation such as TOEFL and IELTS. We do not accept Duolingo certificates.
How long does it take to review my application?
Applications for regular participation are reviewed on a rolling basis, with decisions communicated periodically. We appreciate your patience and will notify you as soon as a decision is reached.
Applications for scholarships require additional review and will be notified after the scholarship application deadline (April 30, 2026). Exceptions may be made for outstanding applications from candidates who require a visa.
