Curious about GBS?

The next round of application opens in January 2027!

You are ready to go if you fulfil the following criteria:

Proficient in written and spoken English (C1)
MA Student (or at least at the end of your Bachelor) or professional in a field related to the build environment
Knowledge of design and simulation tools
Relevant experience in architecture, engineering, energy management or a related field
High motivation and engagement with GBS themes and values

What are the additional application criteria when applying for a scholarship?

Active student status
Academic excellence (grades, study progress)
Financial need
High engagement in sustainability, either in practice or academia
Clear vision for applying the GBS modules in your work or community
Supporting documents, such as a reference letter of your university professor or awards

Applications are evaluated periodically and on a rolling basis. Please be patient if you do not hear back from us immediately. If we need more information, we will reach out to you.

Please note that BOKU credit registration (7 ECTS) closes in mid-May. Applications remain open until June for participation only (no credit).
