Fee includes accommodation in a passive hosue student guesthouse in Vienna during the entire 3 weeks of the program, plus 1 optional extra-week after GBS 2024 free of charge. You do NOT need to apply for a room, your accommodation during GBS is organized by us. If you do NOT want to move into the student guesthouse, EUR 200,- are deducted from the participation fee. Employer fee: The summer program is also suitable as a continuing education program! If your participation is paid by your employer, the fee is: EUR 3.290,- (incl. accommodation in a student guesthouse; excl. VAT).

Scholarship
Our academic partners are offering scholarships for highly qualified students in need of financial support. This enables those to join us on a reduced participation fee. See the full list of supporters here.
If you are a student or member of one of our academic partners please mention the partner institution at “scholarship reference” in the application form. Also, you will be asked to fill in a Motivation Statement.
With a scholarship students may participate on a reduced fee of EUR 790,--/ 590,-- (with/without housing).
Eligible are students ...
- who are doing a master in a study field related to the built environment
- from academic excellence (grades, study progress)
- having excellent knowledge of the English language
- having demonstrated experience in architecture, engineering, planning or similar
- financial need
Note: Only students can apply for a scholarship!
Scholarship-holders need to hand in a follow-up report about their experience and / or present the program to their classmates after participation. Detailed information will be forwarded after acceptance.
Full scholarships by IDM/DRC
Our partners at the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) and Danube Rectors' Conference (DRC) are offering 2 full scholarships for students at their member universities to participate in the GBS Summer University this year. To apply, have a look at their members to see if you're eligible and enter the scholarship reference "IDM" in the application form.
Application for these scholarships is still possible until: 5 May 2024 (EXTENDED)
Special offers and discounts
Bring-a-friend-offer: There is a special treat for our former participants of both summer universities: As an alumni of Green.Building.Solutions. or AEMS you can get one week in our student residence in Vienna summer for free, if somebody joins upon your recommendation! The applicant only needs to enter your name in the application form.
