Scholarships
Our academic partners, together with private companies, offer a limited number of scholarships for highly qualified students requiring financial support.
A scholarship allows participation in GBS at a reduced fee of EUR 890, including accommodation and all program-related activities.

Scholarship Elibilility:
⚠️ Note: Only students can apply for a scholarship!
Scholarship candidates must:
- Be enrolled in a relevant master’s program (or final-stage bachelor’s degree).
- Provide evidence of academic excellence
- Demonstrate financial need
- Show high engagement in sustainability, either in practice or academia
- Present a clear vision for applying the GBS modules in your work or community

👉 ACADEMIC PARTNER UNIVERSITIES
Applicants who study at one of our academic partner institutions are asked to indicate the partner university under “scholarship reference” in the application form.

Are you eager to share your summer experience with a bigger audience? We are offering 1 FULL scholarship: support us with social media content and take part in the GBS Summer University for free!*

*accommodation is NOT included, but available for a fee of EUR 300.
👉 ACCOMODATION
Accommodation in a student residence in Vienna is available for an additional EUR 300 to our social media scholar.
This fee covers your stay for the full 3 weeks of the program, plus 1 optional extra week before GBS 2026 at no extra cost. Moving in is possible from July, 6 (optional). Moving out is until August, 3 at 9 am.
Accommodation is arranged by us, OeAD student housing - simply indicate your interest when filling out the application form.
Scholarship application deadline: April 30, 2026.
Deadline for the Registration for a BOKU certificate: May 23, 2026.
