25 years of OeAD student housing – A cause of celebration!

For 25 years OeAD student housing is a non-profit student residence provider for international and national students.
We would like to celebrate our 25th anniversary with YOU and organize a raffle between August 9, 2023 - September 1, 2023.

- 1x a free birthday month: For the month of October, we will waive the accommodation fee.

25 years OeAD student housing - however, our success story began even earlier:
On October 1, 1998, OeAD student housing was founded as an independent subsidiary of the OeAD. In the period from 1962 to 1998, the OeAD (formerly Verein Österreichischer Akademischer Austauschdienst) itself was entrusted with the accommodation of international students. Due to the steadily increasing demand, however, the accommodation sub-sector was completely separated from the former association. However, today's OeAD remains 100% shareholder of OeAD student housing.
Thus, it was and is now possible to facilitate the search for accommodation and rooms for international and national students and to create excellent conditions for a successful stay in Austria. We are thus a common point of contact for universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of education, private universities, and other organizations.
Our Know-How:
Due to our partnerships with other student accommodation providers, we can offer you a wide range of accommodation in Austria in addition to our own OeAD-Guesthouses.
We are regarded as pioneers in the construction of passive house design student residences. By accommodating students in passive houses, we contribute significantly to the broadening of awareness about sustainability. For you, this means always having a pleasant living climate, without having to pay particular attention to it.
