The summer universities "Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS)" and "Green.Building.Solutions. (GBS)" took place again this past summer and welcomed a total of 103 participants from 48 nations in Vienna!
At AEMS, students and professionals from all fields discussed problems caused by the current economic system, such as environmental degradation and social inequality, before diving into the many different alternative approaches and opportunities for transformation!
GBS focused on expert knowledge on sustainable building and planning practices: Students got to deepen their knowledge in fields such as alternative building materials, passive house design, energy efficiency, greening of buildings or urban planning.
