How to apply
Before you apply, have a look at our application criteria.
Ready to join the AEMS Summer University? Here’s how to apply:
Step 1
Start by registering on our website: When you click the "Apply now!"-Button, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, and create a password.
Step 2
Once you're set up, you are ready to fill in the application form.
Here's a guide on what you will need during the process, so you can prepare the required documents beforehand.
Documents needed:
- Passport
- Curriculum Vitae
- English Certificate (not necessary if English is your first language or your present/past studies are or were carried out in English)
- A photo of yourself (will be used on the introduction page for AEMS-participants in our preparatory materials only)
If you are a student, you will also need to provide:
- a grade transcript from your university
Other materials needed:
- Your statement telling us why you are looking forward to joining AEMS and which topics your are particularly looking forward to - either in written form (max. 1,000 characters including spaces), or in form of a short video (strongly preferred).

Step 3
In order to complete the form successfully, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions. Please note that the Withdrawal or Deferral Refund Policy applies from the moment you submit your application. Your contract partner is OeAD student housing.
After successfully completing the form, you will also receive a confirmation mail to your inbox. Please also check your spam-folder, if you can't find it.
Please note: All communication regarding your application is via email, so double check the spelling of your email address when submitting your application and regularly check your spam folders.
