Review of our Public Events 2026

The summer universities AEMS and GBS provided insights into new approaches for sustainability not only to the students. The two unique learning programs also cordially invited the interested public to attend public events:

  • The Opening Event "Who builds the future?" took place on 15 July 2026 at Museumsquartier. 250 people attended the event with inspiring keynote speeches by key-note speakers Doris Österreicher, Marlene Engelhorn and Daniel Huppmann. Read more here.

  • The AEMS Movie Night took place on 28 July 2026 at Votivkino with a public screening of the movie "YANUNI" by Richard Ladkani. The movie provided insights into the fight for indigenious sovereignty as well as the protection of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil to an audience of around 140 visitors. Link to movie website

  • The GBS Closing Ceremony welcomed about 80 people at TUtheSky, TU Wien, to this year's project presentations of the students and the following certificate cereomy and the official farewell celebrations.
