Climate Protection Prize 2013
In the time since the OeAD-Housing Office was founded, five student residences have been built according to passive house standards. Strong emphasis has been placed on ecological construction, sharing that knowledge with international students and carrying the basic idea of ecological construction into the world.

These efforts to actively contribution to climate protection were rewarded in November 2013, when the OeAD-Housing Office was awarded the Climate Protection Prize 2013 in the “Climate Protection in Companies” category, at the ORF climate protection awards.
With more than 30,000 votes from consumers, the OeAD-Housing Office was chosen among 230 submissions and awarded the prestigious prize at the award ceremony in the Siemens City.
